By accessing or using Markdown Viewer (the "Service") at markdownviewerfree.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Markdown Viewer is a free, browser-based application for viewing, editing, comparing and exporting Markdown documents. The Service runs entirely client-side: all processing happens in your browser, and your documents are stored locally on your own device (see ourprivacy policy). We do not host, receive or store your content.
3. Your content and rights
You retain full ownership of every document you create, open, edit or export with the Service. We claim no license or rights over your content. Because the Service processes everything locally, you are responsible for keeping your own copies and backups — clearing your browser data will remove locally saved documents.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to view, create or distribute content that is unlawful, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the website. Since the Service performs all rendering locally, you are solely responsible for the content you choose to open with it.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that rendering will be accurate for every possible Markdown input. Always keep independent backups of important documents.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Markdown Viewer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
7. Third-party content and links
The Service may render links or content contained in your documents and may link to third-party websites (such as the Markdown guide). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
8. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may update the Service or these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
